Maureen Couture

We used AMSI property management recently to manage our TIC unit located in the Pacific Heights area of San Francisco. We chose AMSI because the TIC association does not allow vrbo or air b&b, but does accept extended stay, corporate housing leasing. Our agent, Maureen "Mo" Couture worked hard for us and our place rented out every month. Maureen had mentioned to me that AMSI also has a real estate division and that if we should ever consider selling, we should list with AMSI. Here is what happened when we did. Maureen "Mo" Couture sold our unit in less than 3 weeks! She negotiated an all cash offer at full asking price. This particular transaction was very complicated, with many people involved, due to the nature of a 1031 exchange sale. We had the most wonderful experience with Mo & AMSI selling our TIC property in San Francisco, and that is why we give Mo and company 5 stars! 

I cannot speak more highly of my experience with AMSI, in particular, with that of Maureen Couture. Hands down, she is the best at what she does and literally moved mountains to get us the best renters for our SF home so that we could fulfill a dream to live abroad in Spain for 6 months...and then when Covid 19 hit and our original tenants moved back to Canada, Maureen worked her wonders and found us a lovely couple looking for a short term rental while they were renovating their SF home. If Maureen's drive and work ethic is representative of the team at AMSI, there is no other company you should even consider working with- they are the gold standard and if you're lucky enough to have Maureen as your agent, you're bound for the best experience in what can otherwise be a very stressful and uncertain process. This review is specifically for Maureen Couture (Mo) at AMSI. I recently hired her to rent out my condo in San Francisco. She was recommended to me through a friend of a friend and really exceeded all expectations. She's extremely professional, friendly, and very responsive regardless of her very busy schedule. She was also very patient and accommodating with my schedule that was all over the place. Upon our first meeting we did a walk through of my place, and I talked her through the small cosmetics updates I would be doing before renting it out. She let me know which ones she felt I could forgo, and which she felt were a necessity. From there she wrote up a detailed listing and made a separate flyer that she then sent over to me to approve. Within a week, she presented me with three potential tenant profiles, I made a decision on one, and my place rented out for more than the monthly listing I originally asked for. Any and all questions I've had for her post the renting out of my property, she's quickly responded to. I would highly recommend working with MO. She's fantastic!

I was extremely pleased with the level of service that I received from the minute I met Maureen "Mo" Couture. I was a nervous/worried condo owner once I decided to lease my place to corporate renters while I was out of the country. Thankfully, Mo eased my concerns and was able to rent my condo to three different tenants over the course of the year (minimum 30 day lease and maximum 5 month lease) and there wasn't one day that the apartment wasn't rented, which was incredible! Mo set clear expectations, was always available to answer my many questions (via email, phone, text) and I completely trusted her and the AMSI team to look over my condo while I was away. I felt so comfortable knowing I didn't need to worry one bit and now that I'm back in San Francisco, my apartment is in perfect condition and I couldn't be happier with AMSI. Maureen will be the first person I call the next time I decide to rent out my condo!

Maureen is such a gem. I had a very last minute relocation from Austin, TX to SF, and she made the entire process so easy for me. She was consistently available to me over the phone, email, and text, and went out of her way to get all my paperwork in order (from halfway across the country!). I called Amsi on a monday morning in need of a furnished rental that night! Maureen Couture answered and really heard me. Because of the large dog who would be staying there we really needed a miracle. 

Maureen came right over, picked me up and drove me to the only 2 options available. 

She admitted this was a challenge, but one she would meet. SHE DID! She found a place that could not have been more comfortable and fielded all my calls about the trouble I was having filling out the application. Even meeting me at the door with the keys. This was above and beyond her job and I am forever grateful. If you need a short term furnished rental, you should really only make this one call. Maureen really cares and it shows.

My experience with Maureen of AMSI has been very good. She was very prompt in responding to my concerns when I was looking for a place, and was able to show me a place I was particularly interested in. Since I moved in, she has been very responsive to any questions and concerns I have had concerning the property. I give her and the company a top rating.

My roommates and I used AMSI to book our summer housing at Baycrest Towers, and we loved working with them! Maureen "Mo" Couture is an absolute gem. Not only was she super helpful when it came time to pay our rent, but she also seamlessly helped my roommate replace a lost key, which was a huge lifesaver for us all. Baycrest was the perfect place for us due to its perfect walkability, and AMSI's accommodations there great for your everyday needs. Our stay even included cable! For an easy stay with little stress, you'd be hard pressed to find a better company to lease through.
