LAKE ARENAL HOTEL

Designed after the Palace of Knossos (on Crete), this steel-rebar reinforced concrete hotel safely nestled into a hill overlooking Lake Arenal was built to last in 1992. The building continues to stand the test of time and is in great condition ( while some rooms are in need of updating). The hotel’s deep red and yellow Oak columns frame the surrounding lush green energy and breathtaking views of the lake.
Colorful, naturally- dyed and polished cement floors, and painted frescoes, and a sweeping central open-aired staircase make Lake Arenal Hotel’s unique beauty unforgettable.
The hotel has an economic break- even occupancy rate of 20%. With the rooms, pool, laundry facility, and solar photovoltaic panels to power the hot water supply, operational costs are extremely low. There is a combination of four- bed and two- bed rooms, some with fireplaces, nine of which can be equipped with a kitchenette ( some rooms are in need of updating). Additionally, there is a large pool, large jacuzzi, laundry facilities, tennis court, nature trails, local wildlife, lush gardens & green zones, along with a stellar bar/ restaurant/ dining area with a fireplace and a great view.
